These photos look like they're from a book entitled, "Hungry Planet: What the World Eats" by Peter Menzel and Faith D'Aluisio. It's an amazing commentary on greater human experience than simply the relative cost of food eaten. I highly recommend it.
Thank you for your posting I am humbled at what I eat compared to them and what they eat. I should and will have more thought in what I eat from now on.
