We remain incredibly divided by race in this country. I am saddened by the anger that I have been hearing lately especially since the Jeremiah Wright controversy has been on the news. We need more conversations. Many if not most of my people (white, middle class, nonurban) have no idea how much race plays a factor in the lack of opportunities experienced by nonwhites. We need more respectful conversations about race. What do you think?
