John Ortberg's Teaching About Women and Christianity

Right on. Women were and are central to the church. In fact, throughout time the church has always been better supported by women then men. Most churches will have more women than men. Woman are often more faithful in following Christ then men. I wholly agree with what Ortberg taught. What is interesting is that people often take these truths and make them to say that role distinctions have been erased. That equality in value in person means that roles are now completely the same. This disagrees with the historical record of the Bible as well as it's teaching. Keep up the good posts.
